Ochoko Cups are crucial consumable items in Nioh 3, especially when summoning Acolytes during exploration or for challenging boss encounters. Obtaining a steady supply of these cups is straightforward, particularly once an efficient farming method is known. This guide explains how to acquire Ochoko Cups in Nioh 3.
How to get Ochoko Cups in Nioh 3
The fastest method for acquiring Ochoko Cups in Nioh 3 involves summoning and defeating Revenants. These spectral foes can be called forth from the distinctive red, bloody graves scattered across the game’s overworld. Such graves are frequently located near Crucible Wraiths, boss arenas, and Shrines.

Defeating a Revenant often yields one to three Ochoko Cups. While other enemies and bosses may occasionally drop these cups, this is not the most reliable farming strategy, as their drops are randomized and frequently consist of new gear or other consumables.
An efficient strategy for rapidly farming numerous Ochoko Cups involves locating a spawned Bloodedge Demon. These demons are consistently encircled by three to six Revenant graves, which can be repeatedly engaged for Ochoko Cup acquisition. If a Shrine is conveniently close, players can defeat the surrounding Revenants, rest at the Shrine to reset them, and then repeat the process.
Ochoko Cups are used to summon Acolytes from the glowing blue graves found throughout the map. The farming process is straightforward: defeat Revenants to collect cups, then use them to summon an Acolyte.
Ochoko Cups are also necessary for summoning co-op Visitors. Players can earn cups by offering their services as a summonable Visitor. Additional details are available in the Nioh 3 co-op guide.
